Project started on 12 th June 2017, inaugurated by IAS C. Ravishankar ( D.M Pithoragarh ) on the occasion of world day against child labour for the welfare of underprivileged or street children's who are involved in begging and child labour activities.
The aim of this self funded project is to cover all underprivilged children in the society and give them opportunities to learn, study and develop. This project focuses to find different ways to attract these street wandering children and convert them into main educational stream by indulging them in skill development classes(preparing cards, bags, colours, creative crafts, stiching) etc followed by daily interesting smart classes so that they can learn while they earn and come to the main stream. We provide them monthly counselling sessions which gives them strength and motivation."Unmukti" has converted more than dozen of students to main stream who are enrolled under this program. These daily learning classes and attractive sessions have totally changed the life of these children's and have given them new hope of life.
